
Payroll Client Services Lead – DACH Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Provide specialist-level support for all inquiries related to payroll processes in Germany and Switzerland, ensuring compliance with local regulations and tax laws.
• Act as the regional specialist for all payroll-related matters in your designated region or sub-region, keeping all stakeholders updated on any changes, delays, or notifications.
• Serve as the primary contact for urgent issues and customer escalations, participating in customer video calls to quickly resolve concerns.
• Work independently on customer escalations, diligently striving for swift resolutions.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams, including Customer Experience and Payroll Operations, to deliver outstanding support and adhere to service level agreements (SLAs).
• May be tasked with providing premium support to specific customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
• Experience in processing end-to-end payroll or equivalent experience.
• Essential: Hands-on experience in processing end-to-end payroll specifically for Germany and/or Switzerland.
• Professional fluency in German.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance standards in the DACH region.
• Background in client-facing roles.
• Analytical mindset with outstanding problem-solving skills to address complex issues and escalations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment: adaptable, enjoys cross-cultural collaboration, and seeks to enhance workflows for improved efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills: fluent in English, comfortable with asynchronous communication, and skilled in using collaboration tools such as Slack.
• Team-oriented: capable of mentoring and supporting colleagues, collaborating effectively across departments, and managing escalations with confidence.
