Payroll & Benefits Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee payroll processing operations for employees in various countries, ensuring precision, compliance, and timely execution.

• Assist in payroll reconciliations, examine discrepancies, and address payroll-related concerns.

• Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and changes in employment status within payroll, benefits, and retirement systems.

• Keep payroll records updated, including compensation adjustments, benefit selections, deductions, organizational alterations, and employee data modifications.

• Address employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and pay administration procedures.

• Aid in year-end payroll processes and compliance obligations across global regions.

• Support general ledger reconciliations, vacation accruals, and payroll reporting tasks.

• Stay informed on regulatory, tax, and legislative changes that may affect payroll and benefits management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in processing Canadian and U.S. payroll within a multi-entity, multi-region, or complex business setting.

• Payroll certification or equivalent experience in payroll administration.

• Familiarity with payroll systems such as UKG, Workday, CloudPay, or comparable platforms.

• Strong analytical abilities to investigate discrepancies and handle large volumes of payroll data.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs (or similar lookup and reporting functions).

• Keen attention to detail and the capability to manage confidential employee information appropriately.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
