Payroll Associate – B2B SaaS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and ensure the seamless execution of all routine and off-cycle payroll processes for Prompt and its subsidiaries, guaranteeing 100% accuracy and timely distribution.

• Proactively manage, establish, and uphold payroll tax registrations across all federal, state, and local jurisdictions.

• Act as the primary hands-on administrator for our payroll software (Rippling), overseeing backend configuration and ensuring that system data aligns with financial realities.

• Enter, audit, and maintain accurate employee payroll information (such as hours, deductions, bonuses, garnishments, and tax withholdings) across all systems.

• Monitor the payroll inbox to directly address and resolve employee inquiries specifically related to paychecks, taxes, direct deposits, and deductions.

• Produce standard and ad-hoc payroll reports to facilitate accounting reconciliation and compliance reviews by leadership.

• Securely organize and maintain highly confidential payroll documents, records, and files in strict adherence to retention laws.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of dedicated, end-to-end payroll processing experience (7+ years is strongly preferred).

• Extensive, demonstrated expertise in managing multi-state payroll, payroll tax compliance, and entity registrations across various jurisdictions.

• Advanced, hands-on administrative skills with modern payroll software, particularly Rippling.

• Experience functioning as the sole or primary payroll administrator for an organization and its subsidiaries.
