This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee and facilitate comprehensive payroll processing for employees located in the UK, either weekly or monthly.
• Manage payroll calculations along with statutory deductions, ensuring adherence to HMRC regulations.
• Effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders across different time zones.
• Keep precise records of payroll information, employee modifications, and tax submissions.
• Utilize appropriate tools such as Sage Payroll, Xero, or other comparable payroll systems.
• Assist the broader HR and finance teams with payroll inquiries, reporting, and year-end procedures.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance payroll precision and optimize processing workflows.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage payroll for multiple employees concurrently.
• Proficient in payroll software such as Sage, Xero, or other equivalent platforms.
• Capable of working independently and efficiently managing your time.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Experience with UK payroll legislation or working with UK-based employers is a plus.
