Payments Systems Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the payments platform from start to finish.

• Conduct an audit of the dunning stack, assess vendors, and determine whether to enhance, change, or add layers.

• Focus on routing optimization, network tokenization, express checkout, and ongoing experimentation at the checkout stage.

• Draft specifications, extract data from the warehouse, negotiate vendor service level agreements, and present insights to the CFO.

• Lead the resolution of issues as they arise and define the product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in payments product management or payments program management, particularly in subscription or e-commerce sectors.

• Hands-on experience with payment orchestration platforms and multi-MID routing systems.

• Expertise in dunning and recovery processes: understanding retry logic, involuntary churn metrics, and vendor assessment.

• Proficiency in modern BI tools allowing for data self-sufficiency — you are proactive about data analysis without relying on an analyst.

• Proven ability to integrate AI-driven workflows: you currently utilize LLM and agentic tools in your product development. This is a fundamental requirement, not just a preference.

• Comfortable managing chargebacks, understanding fraud risk, and navigating regulatory compliance contexts.
