Payments Project Manager – 6 Months Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate various projects throughout the LATAM region, ensuring they align with business goals.

• Create and uphold project plans, timelines, and strategies for mitigating risks.

• Monitor project advancement, pinpoint obstacles, and facilitate their resolution.

• Promote effective communication among regional teams, stakeholders, and the global headquarters.

• Compile and present status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.

• Assist in resource planning and capacity management for all projects.

• Ensure compliance with project management best practices and methodologies.

• Manage relationships with vendors and collaborate with external partners as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in project management or a PMO role.

• Background in the Payment, Banking, or Fintech sectors is essential.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Experience in or familiarity with Latin American markets.

• Strong organizational skills and effective time management.

• Excellent abilities in stakeholder management and communication.

• Skilled in using project management tools (such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar).

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• A problem-solving approach with meticulous attention to detail.

• Comfort with working across different time zones.

• Proficiency in Portuguese is advantageous for operations in Brazil.

• Possession of PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.

• Experience with card issuance, payment processing, or digital banking products.

• Prior experience in contract or consulting roles.
