This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take charge of building and organizing the operational and technical team for a British Fintech.
• Identify bottlenecks in payment flows.
• Design the team structure (from Payments Support to Risk Controls).
• Advise the client on competencies necessary for the stability of the global authorization and payment engine.
• A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in managing payment operations (Payments Ops).
• Experience in building, recruiting, and scaling operational and technical teams.
• In-depth domain knowledge: card processing (Visa/Mastercard), transaction lifecycle, reconciliation, and Anti-fraud systems.
• Ability to think strategically.
• Experience working closely with engineering departments.
• Strong consulting skills.
• Proficient in English (C1).
• Training budget (up to 2500 PLN net per year).
