Payments Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily functions of Payments Operations, ensuring the continuity, stability, and proper execution of essential processes.

• Manage the operational capabilities of the unit, encompassing Treasury Operations, Payins & Settlement Operations, Operational Efficiency, and Operational Execution.

• Guarantee operational coverage by designating owners, backups, and continuity strategies.

• Supervise adherence to procedures, internal controls, and service agreements.

• Oversee the team’s performance through KPIs, result monitoring, and enhancement plans.

• Mentor, coach, and develop the team under your leadership.

• Arrange operational routines, weekly performance assessments, and governance mechanisms.

• Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, collaboration, and results-driven orientation.

• Direct the management and escalation of critical operational incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Systems Engineering, or related disciplines.

• At least 5 years of experience in financial operations, banking, fintech, or transactional sectors.

• A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing operational teams.

• Proven experience in managing KPIs, operational capacity, coverage, and service continuity.

• Background in managing operational incidents and end-to-end transactional workflows.

• Advanced understanding of payments operations and financial transactions.

• Proficient knowledge in operational process management and metrics.

• Familiarity with coordinating efforts with teams such as Product, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Commercial, and Operations.
