This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Providing support to clients in building products and scaling teams within the FinTech sector.
• Identifying bottlenecks in payment flows.
• Designing team structures (from Payments Support to Risk Controls).
• Advising clients on the necessary competencies to ensure the stability of the global authorization and payment engine.
• Establishing frameworks that deliver real value.
• A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in managing payment operations (Payments Ops), technical support, or settlements in the Fintech/Banking sector.
• Experience in building, recruiting, and scaling operational-technical teams (e.g., Payments Analysts, Support Engineers, Risk Specialists).
• In-depth domain knowledge: card processing (Visa/Mastercard), transaction lifecycle, reconciliation, and anti-fraud systems.
• Strategic thinking abilities - from mapping processes (failed transactions, incident flow) to cost estimation of the team within Polish market realities.
• Experience in close collaboration with Engineering departments (familiarity with tools like SQL, API monitoring, system logs).
• Strong consulting skills - the ability to engage with C-level executives on the client side as a trusted partner.
• Proficiency in English (C1 level) to facilitate negotiations and relationship building in an international environment.
• A strong ownership mindset - taking responsibility for the vision of the structure and its execution.
• Training budget (up to 2500 PLN net per year).
