Payments and Refund Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Record all payer funds

• Monitor all income

• Oversee patient refunds

• Record and reconcile payments received via Lockbox, ERA, EOBs, Remedics, or Clearing House

• Balance daily payments logged in each Division and document them in the appropriate spreadsheets

• Monitor patient credits and execute refunds

• Implement approved adjustments from RCM teams or Divisions

• Engage in revenue cycle meetings and initiatives for process enhancement

• Identify and address billing issues

• Respond to inquiries from staff, patients, and insurance companies
