Payer Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive SOPs for payer contracting, enrollment, and credentialing workflows.

• Create quality control measures and error-detection checkpoints to minimize rework.

• Identify obstacles in the expansion pipeline and implement cycle-time enhancements.

• Keep enrollment and contracting trackers current and escalate any blockers with suggested solutions.

• Conduct consistent follow-ups with payers to verify application receipt and address any deficiencies.

• Prepare, submit, and monitor payer contract applications for health plan partnerships and service lines.

• Act as a quality and productivity mentor for offshore enrollment team members.

• Assist the Sr. Manager in onboarding offshore contributors regarding payer processes and tools.

• Collaborate with RCM and payer strategy/business development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, payer contracting, or healthcare administration (internship or related revenue cycle experience is acceptable).

• Proven experience in creating or documenting processes and SOPs.

• Experience in coaching, training, or quality-reviewing the work of others (formal management experience is not mandatory).

• Comfortable taking ownership of metrics and reporting on pipeline throughput.

• Highly self-sufficient and motivated with strong follow-up abilities.

• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
