This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Conduct pavement data analysis to facilitate the implementation, updates, and optimization of the pavement management system (PMS).
• Lead or assist in the implementation and configuration of pavement management systems for clients.
• Formulate maintenance and rehabilitation strategies at both network and project levels.
• Analyze pavement condition data including PCI, IRI, distress, and structural data, providing actionable recommendations.
• Utilize engineering principles to assess pavement performance, deterioration, and life-cycle strategies.
• Prepare technical deliverables such as reports, GIS outputs, dashboards, and client presentations.
• Aid in developing specifications and conducting engineering analyses.
• Evaluate non-destructive testing data (e.g., FWD, GPR, TSD).
• Oversee projects from initiation to delivery, managing client coordination, budgets, schedules, and reporting.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, fostering strong professional relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to facilitate project execution.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and data collection initiatives.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including GIS, geospatial, materials, planning, and field operations.
• Ensure that deliverables align with client expectations and adhere to internal QA/QC standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in delivering pavement management or engineering projects.
• Demonstrated experience with the implementation of pavement management systems (PMS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar data analysis tools is preferred.
• Experience using GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or QGIS is preferred.
• Experience working with municipal, DOT, or large-scale pavement programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and PCI methodologies is preferred.
• Experience with pavement data collection technologies (LCMS, GPR, TSD, inertial profilers) is preferred.
• Experience with life-cycle cost analysis (LCCA) and asset management frameworks is preferred.
