Patienten- und Projektmanager – Diabetes Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Strategic and operational support for patient organizations and professional associations, along with the management of regional and national projects aimed at enhancing patient engagement.

• Identification and exploration of new cooperation and business opportunities through proactive outreach to potential partners and initiation of collaborations.

• Development and implementation of formats/events to expand the reach and visibility of patient-centered initiatives.

• Establishment, maintenance, and development of a robust network with patient organizations, patient representatives, and relevant stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

• Planning and execution of events and promotional activities in close collaboration with marketing.

• Representation of Abbott Diabetes Care at health fairs, events, and networking formats.

• Accountability for achieving defined engagement, collaboration, and project goals.

• Collaboration with Market Access, Marketing, and Sales to maximize patient potential in the assigned regions.

• Responsibility for budget planning and the analysis and presentation of relevant market and patient information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree or equivalent qualification in health, natural sciences, communication, or business fields.

• Several years of professional experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in sales, project, or event management.

• Proven experience in project management, event management, and in building networks and stakeholder relationships.

• Knowledge of the German healthcare market; experience in the diabetes sector and working with patient organizations is an advantage.

• Strong affinity for digital health and medical product solutions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with a highly independent and structured working style.

• Proactive work ethic with a high degree of responsibility and enthusiasm for B2B outreach and acquiring new business partners.

• Fluent German language skills, good English proficiency, and a strong willingness to travel within Germany.
