Patient Services Specialist – Patient Access

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with an RN/provider to ensure high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

• Oversee the coordination of both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures.

• Offer routine and advanced financial counseling to patients.

• Investigate standard and complex referral and billing inquiries.

• Accurately complete routine and complex coding for encounter forms related to all surgical cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in healthcare or insurance sectors.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ambulatory practice.

• At least 1 year of experience with coding ICD9, CPT, and HCPCS.

• A year of experience in third-party billing and referrals.

• Previous experience serving as a liaison between providers and staff.
