This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and manage all necessary elements to secure prescription drug coverage for patients.
• Collaborate with insurance providers, physicians' offices, and healthcare professionals to optimize reimbursement solutions.
• Handle documentation, submissions, and all related paperwork for insurance companies and public/federal funding programs.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clinics.
• Coordinate pharmacy processes essential after funding has been secured.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of both public/private and federal funding mechanisms.
• Bilingualism in English and French is a significant advantage;
• Previous experience in a reimbursement role is highly beneficial;
• Background in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is advantageous;
• At least 2 years of experience in customer or client service roles;
• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications (Google Workspace, Word, Excel);
• Professional, courteous, and efficient phone etiquette;
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple deadlines;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
• Keen attention to detail;
• Proficient in resolving issues quickly and effectively;
• Creative and innovative problem-solving mindset;
• Availability to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, covering hours from 8 AM to 8 PM EST.
