Patient Navigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Answer inbound calls at a rate of 90–95% during business hours.

• Attend 100% of pre-scheduled 15-minute introductory video calls with prospective patients.

• Assess patients through structured questions regarding financing readiness and benefits eligibility.

• Inform potential patients about the client's non-surgical procedure offerings in an educational and relationship-focused manner.

• Schedule qualified patients for clinical consultations with nurse practitioners.

• Participate in the final 10 minutes of medical consultations led by nurse practitioners.

• Guide patients through subsequent steps, payment logistics, and financing options.

• Arrange follow-up calls for patients who have lingering questions.

• Facilitate conversion from warm handoffs to final payments and closures.

• Record all patient interactions in the company's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (including calls, texts, and scheduling).

• Adhere to HIPAA-compliant workflows and data handling procedures.

• Monitor the consultation booking rate and warm-handoff closure rate from Day 1.

• Collaborate with the team using Google Workspace (with Google Chat as the primary communication channel).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient-facing role within the US healthcare sector (such as intake, coordination, scheduling, patient services, telehealth support, or clinical roles).

• Direct experience managing high-volume inbound patient calls and conducting scheduled video consultations.

• Proven experience discussing payment, financing, or cost options directly with patients or customers.

• Demonstrated ability to work during US business hours (ET/CT), including shift-based schedules.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace and EMR/EHR or similar healthcare scheduling platforms.

• Capability to operate on a MacBook while adhering to HIPAA-compliant workflows.

• C1+ level English proficiency (CEFR) with a neutral accent for effective communication with US patients via phone and video.

• Nice-to-Have: Exposure to GLP-1 programs, medical weight loss, bariatric, or obesity care patient populations.

• Fluency in Spanish in addition to English.

• RN, LPN, or other clinical credentials.

• Experience with telehealth platforms or cash-pay elective medical practices.

• Prior experience covering Sunday or non-traditional shifts.
