This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance, FMIs, and/or ISIs accurately and on schedule.
• Support more seasoned field engineers during the installation of equipment.
• Collaborate with experienced field engineers on basic troubleshooting and service repairs for assigned equipment.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with teammates and colleagues.
• Learn to communicate effectively with customers to ensure issues are resolved and follow-ups are conducted, leading to enhanced customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with customers and suggest value-added services that can help them operate their businesses more efficiently.
• Stay current with administrative tasks such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records promptly, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times.
• Utilize the GEHC escalation process when necessary and work closely with regional and national support to define and execute corrective action plans to resolve customer issues promptly.
• Act as a member of the account community for key accounts.
• Engage effectively with commercial counterparts, identify potential sales leads, participate in sales opportunities like contract renewals, and assist in promoting and implementing revenue programs.
• Prioritize customer needs and satisfaction, while enhancing the relationship with the customer to become a valued partner in their business.
• Stay informed about competitor information and market trends.
• Independently handle service calls without assistance within one year of employment.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment.
• Familiarity with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to be available "after hours" or work a rotating On-Call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues and coverage as needed.
