Patient Intake Services Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the registration and scheduling of patients within a call center setting while ensuring outstanding customer service.

• Schedule new and existing patients with precision and efficiency using the current practice management system.

• Handle a significant volume of incoming calls promptly, courteously, and professionally.

• Relay all essential patient information regarding their calls, including appointment details, directions, check-in timings, referral data, and copayments.

• Confirm and record insurance details as per established business protocols.

• Keep and update assigned appointment reports, new patient documentation, or other designated scheduling tools.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of healthcare plan requirements and networks.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience in customer service.

• Preferred background in a healthcare facility related to pre-registration or appointment scheduling.

• Previous experience in a call center environment is favored.
