• Accountable for overseeing and resolving high-value, high-profile, escalated accounts.
• Guarantees prompt and precise posting, adjustments, correspondence, and/or denials.
• Assists with various special projects to ensure optimal billing, accounts receivable (AR), and denial prevention.
• Monitors, researches, and/or resolves high-value, high-profile, and problematic accounts.
• Supplies essential information to different internal revenue cycle departments, clinical and corporate departments, and patients for the resolution of account inquiries.
• Assesses payer performance and payment trends to furnish management with statistics aimed at enhancing payer relations.
• Participates in relevant meetings and training seminars to maintain awareness and comprehension of billing regulations, compliance policies, industry developments, and payer reimbursement guidelines.
• High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma / highest degree obtained.
• Five (5) years of experience in revenue cycle, accounting, including registration, billing, collections, credits, refunds, customer service, banking, finance, managed care, or a related field.
• CRCA certification preferred.
• CRCR certification preferred.
