Patient Experience Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Educate patients about remote monitoring and assist them in pairing and transmitting data through home monitors or mobile applications.

• Offer guidance for device setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with Murj’s Remote Clinical Services Managers, Remote Clinical Specialists, Account Managers, as well as the clinic’s Device Technicians, Cardiologists, Nurses, and scheduling teams.

• Relay device-related instructions effectively between patients and clinical staff.

• Accurately record patient interactions within the Murj Platform and the clinic's EMR (e.g., Epic, Cerner, NextGen).

• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all forms of communication.

• Monitor patient adherence to daily and weekly data transmissions.

• Promptly and professionally follow up with patients who are not transmitting data.

• Generate a list of disconnected patients and take action on those who are lost or require follow-up using Murj Data Analytics tools.

• Familiarize yourself with various cardiac device types and their corresponding software (e.g., Medtronic CareLink, Merlin.net, Latitude, BIOTRONIK).

• Play a crucial role in the implementation of the Alert Care Protocol during Onboarding, as well as the Core and ILR Alert Configuration Protocols on a per-clinic basis when necessary.

• Provide adaptable support for future product updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience with remote cardiac monitoring systems (e.g., Medtronic CareLink, Merlin.net, Latitude, BIOTRONIK).

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHRs), such as Epic or Cerner.

• Background in cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac devices, along with a fundamental understanding of cardiology concepts.
