Patient Enrollment Specialist – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide education to prospective patients and their families regarding the program, addressing any inquiries they may have, highlighting program advantages and features, managing objections, and facilitating patient enrollment in the program.

• Guide patients in using the program app and/or website while resolving any technical issues that may arise.

• Make outbound calls to potential patients and ensure prompt responses to inbound calls.

• Evaluate patient eligibility based on provided documentation and address any questions or concerns from patients.

• Accurately document and maintain information and call notes in our system, including details about insurance, providers, and clinical updates related to patient health.

• Meet weekly productivity targets as a measure of performance.

• Ensure timely follow-up with patients who show interest in the program and deliver exceptional customer service to foster trust.

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiac rehabilitation and participate in training sessions to enhance understanding of the program.

• Distribute educational materials to interested patients via email and other communication channels.

• Share insurance or other pertinent information with relevant parties as necessary.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced start-up environment.

• Experience working in a quota-driven setting.

• A strong passion for transforming healthcare into a more effective and efficient system. You believe in the potential of technology to enhance clinical outcomes and seek to realize that vision. Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not mandatory.

• Experience interacting with customers/patients in a sales role.

• Proficient in outbound calling and possess a high emotional and intellectual quotient when dealing with various situations.

• Familiarity with utilizing technology in a professional context.
