This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with customers via telephone or email to address inquiries, resolve issues, process payments, and provide information regarding visit insurance processing.
• Evaluate customer concerns and issues, troubleshoot problems, and strive for a satisfactory resolution.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products or services to deliver accurate information to customers.
• Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately in the NG patient chart.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while managing customer interactions.
• Communicate customer feedback to supervisors to aid in problem-solving and developing best practices.
• Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor in all customer interactions, even when addressing challenging or upset customers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be bilingual.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of insurance billing and reimbursement processes.
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy regulations.
• Proficient computer and typing skills.
• Background in ophthalmology/optometry terminology is a plus.
