Patient Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Handle over 80 inbound calls daily from patients, healthcare providers, or private insurance companies.

• Set up payment plans for patients with unpaid balances.

• Regularly use various resources to address patient inquiries during calls.

• Meet established performance targets.

• Achieve proficiency in processes after completing a comprehensive training program.

• Collaborate with external clients and internal staff to address customer inquiries.

• Provide training on products.

• Manage a diverse range of questions while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

• Participate in a customer-focused team.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.

• Preferred: 1 year or more of experience in a high-volume call center.

• Preferred: 1 year or more of experience in medical billing, insurance claims, and explanations of benefits.

• Preferred: 1 year or more of experience in patient billing.

• Capability to work and learn in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong attention to detail and focus.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent organizational capabilities.

• Proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications and screens.

• Skill in alpha-numeric data entry.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Energetic and passionate approach to customer service.

• Ability to find solutions to complex patient billing issues.

• Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST; training hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST.
