Patient Champion – Spanish Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in structured phone-based communications with patients on behalf of partner healthcare organizations.

• Utilize software to adhere to evidence-based protocols for patient check-ins, assessments, and escalation of concerns as necessary.

• Achieve a minimum of 6 hours of patient outreach weekly (approximately 12–18 calls), creating a schedule that accommodates your coursework.

• Perform structured telephonic assessments and wellness check-ins using The Grove, the platform provided by Grapefruit Health.

• Accurately document the outcomes of interactions within the platform.

• Report patient safety concerns to a licensed clinical supervisor in real time.

• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

• Take part in onboarding training and regular check-ins.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.

• REQUIRED: Fluency in both spoken and understood Spanish.

• Enrollment in a healthcare program at a college or university is mandatory: nursing, pharmacy, social work, medical assisting, dietetics, CNA, or a related field.

• A compatible computer and cell phone with SMS capability are necessary.

• Availability to work at least 6 hours per week is required.

• A quiet, private workspace that is free from background noise or distractions is essential.

• Strong verbal communication skills or a sincere desire to develop them is expected.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting is important.

• Reliable availability for a minimum of 6 hours per week is essential.
