This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Deliver exceptional high-volume call center support and outstanding customer service to both patients and healthcare providers.
• Inform patients about the enrollment procedure.
• Manage status inquiries and coordinate deliveries.
• Utilize the core CRM system to oversee workload, execute tasks, and delegate work to team members.
• Offer subject matter expertise regarding program requirements.
• Assist patients and healthcare providers throughout the refill process and address inquiries.
• Provide precise information or redirect calls to the correct team member.
• Record all communications received from calls.
• Alert relevant parties or systems about urgent orders, shipping complications, errors, complaints, and adverse drug events.
• Identify potential adverse events for Pharmacovigilance reporting to ensure FDA compliance.
• Achieve performance standards that align with established metrics.
• Complete all mandatory training, including soft skills certification and program overviews.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• An Associate or College Degree is preferred.
• Previous experience in a call center, healthcare office, corporate environment, healthcare insurance provider, or pharmacy is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with commercial and major medical insurance programs and billing requirements.
• Understanding of healthcare benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeal submissions.
• Knowledge of private payers, pharmacy benefits, medical benefits, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and alternative funding resources.
• Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using multiple applications while capturing case information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Proficient with Lotus Notes Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Ability to respond appropriately in a high-pressure environment.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers and colleagues.
