Patient Care Coordinator – Bilingual Preferred

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service and service delivery to clients and patients by processing referrals for medical goods and services.

• Contact patients regarding new or ongoing referrals, verify demographic information, provide updates on referrals, and confirm delivery details.

• Liaise with vendor partners, claims adjusters, and nurse case managers concerning referrals.

• Source vendor partners for requested goods or services.

• Handle calls related to existing, new, or team members’ referrals.

• Provide clients with quotes for approval and follow up to obtain written consent on sent quotes.

• Ensure that referrals are medically necessary and have been approved by the claims adjuster.

• Verify required billing information and transition referrals to billing on a daily basis.

• Process referrals in compliance with state regulations and workers' compensation guidelines.

• Carry out other assigned tasks as needed.

• Contribute to the organization’s quality programs.

• Travel as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare network and patient care scheduling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Strong customer service abilities.

• Excellent critical thinking skills.

• Self-motivated individual.

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

• Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office products.

• Possess analytical and interpretive skills.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Credit security clearance, confirmed through a background credit check, is mandatory.
