This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and service delivery to clients and patients by managing referrals for medical goods and services.
• Contact patients regarding new or ongoing referrals, verify demographic information, provide updates on referrals, and confirm the delivery of goods or services.
• Collaborate with vendor partners, claims adjusters, and nurse case managers to discuss referral updates.
• Source vendor partners for each referral according to the requested goods or services.
• Handle calls related to existing referrals, new referrals, or referrals from other team members.
• Offer quotes to clients for approval and follow up on submitted quotes to secure written consent.
• Ensure referrals are deemed medically necessary and have been approved by the claims adjuster.
• Verify that all required billing information is present in each referral and move referrals to billing daily.
• Process referrals in compliance with state regulations and workers' compensation guidelines.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.
• Travel as needed.
• Preference for Spanish bilingual candidates.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare network and patient care scheduling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Strong customer service capabilities.
