This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and service delivery to clients and patients by managing referrals for medical goods and services.
• Contact patients regarding both new and ongoing referrals to verify demographic information, provide updates on the referral status, and confirm the delivery of goods or services.
• Liaise with vendor partners, claims adjusters, and nurse case managers to provide updates on both new and existing referrals.
• Source vendor partners for each referral in relation to the requested goods or services.
• Responsible for initiating or receiving calls regarding existing referrals, new referrals, or referrals from other team members.
• Supply quotes to clients for approval or follow up on previously sent quotes to secure written approval for requested referrals, ensuring that each referral is validated as medically necessary and approved by the claims adjuster.
• Verify that all necessary billing information is included in each referral according to established workflow and billing procedures, and advance those referrals for daily billing.
• Process referrals in compliance with state regulations and workers' compensation guidelines.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare network and patient care scheduling or a relevant combination of education and experience is required.
