Patient Care Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Assist the Enteral Nutrition department by managing monthly patient refill requests.

• Confirm that all documentation is accurate prior to dispatching orders.

• Respond to incoming inquiries from patients, caregivers, branches, and patient referral sources concerning the status of nutrition therapy orders.

• Handle changes to prescriptions.

• Direct calls to appropriate departments as needed.

• Validate patient demographics and insurance details to guarantee precise shipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least one year of experience in customer service within a healthcare setting.

• Familiarity with medical insurance and/or medical benefit programs and terminology.

• A minimum of one year of experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• High School diploma or GED is required.
