This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Respond to and address patient inquiries within designated time frames.
• Assist patients with issues related to drug therapy and pharmacy care stemming from disease-state challenges.
• Encourage adherence to prescribed medications.
• Report any adverse events associated with drug therapy and pharmacy care.
• Build and sustain relationships with physician practices and healthcare stakeholders.
• Engage in administering pharmacy care plans for patients.
• Diagnose and resolve issues faced by patients and payers.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members in a structured team environment.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous quality improvement.
• Keep accurate documentation of current patient drug therapy and pharmacy care plans.
• Highlight issues that need attention and coordinate responses with both internal and external parties.
• Take part in case discussions with pharmacists, nursing services, pharmacy support managers, and pharmacy care coordinators.
• Carry out related tasks as assigned.
• A high school diploma is mandatory.
• At least two years of experience in a healthcare-related call center, physician's office, or social service setting.
• Preferred educational background in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar fields through a two-year associate degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated initiative, a professional demeanor, and a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a capacity for quick learning.
• Self-driven and proactive, with the capability to work independently.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to foster a positive team atmosphere.
