Patient Billing Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assist patients with payment processing, billing education, insurance verification, and inquiries related to claims.

• Provide empathetic, accurate, and compliant service while navigating the complexities of healthcare billing systems and policies.

• Execute all functions related to payment processing and payment plans, alongside advanced support for billing, insurance, and claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in customer service or call center roles is required.

• Prior experience in healthcare billing, insurance, or claims is highly preferred.

• Experience in payment processing or financial transactions is preferred.

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; additional education in billing or healthcare is a plus.

• Technical skills in EMR systems and standard computer applications are essential.

• Ability to work independently in a remote or virtual setting is necessary.

• Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English is required.

• A background check is required in compliance with applicable laws.

🏝️ Benefits

• Starting pay - $14/hr with an additional shift differential (extra $1/hr for nights and weekends).

• Paid training is provided, typically lasting 2 weeks from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (CST).

• Employment status is full-time at 40 hours per week, and benefits are available starting from the 1st of the month after 60 days.
