eBilling Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Accountable for all elements of invoice submissions through various electronic billing platforms.

• Addressing e-billing concerns for the law firm's clients utilizing e-billing services.

• Collaborate directly with the client’s E-billing Manager regarding any ad-hoc requests related to e-billing management.

• Monthly submission of electronic invoices and accruals to clients.

• Overseeing the transition of clients to the e-billing system.

• Providing ongoing support to attorneys and clients regarding all aspects of electronic billing.

• Manage a high volume of intricate e-submission tasks for major corporate clients.

• Serve as a liaison between billing attorneys/secretarial staff and clients' personnel responsible for electronic billing.

• Coordinate with billing attorneys/secretaries and client representatives for the resubmission of invoices.

• Input, maintain, and update client data within the billing system.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree or higher is preferred, focusing on Business, Accounting, or Finance.

• A minimum of 1 year of e-billing experience in a corporate law department or law firm setting.

• Familiarity with legal billing and Middleware systems is advantageous (e.g., Legal Exchange, Ty Metrix 360, Legal-X, Serengeti/Legal Tracker).

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency with BillBlast.

• Understanding of various Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing formats is a plus.

• Competence in Windows-based software and Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Strong skills in reading comprehension, analysis, and problem-solving.

• Ability to influence and guide at senior and executive levels within and outside client groups.
