
Patient Billing Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Assist patients with processing payments, educating them on billing, verifying insurance, and addressing claims-related questions.
• Provide compassionate, precise, and compliant service while effectively navigating healthcare billing systems and regulations.
• Execute all functions related to payment processing and payment plans, in addition to offering advanced support for billing, insurance, and claims.
• Investigate account histories to identify the underlying reasons for billing or payment issues.
• Guarantee accuracy in transactions, maintain proper documentation, and ensure data integrity.
• Experience in customer service or call centers is mandatory.
• Prior experience in healthcare billing, insurance, or claims is highly desirable.
• Experience in payment processing or financial transactions is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is required; further education in billing or healthcare is an advantage.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and standard computer applications is essential.
• Capability to work independently in a remote or virtual setting.
• Must possess the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• A background check is required in accordance with relevant laws.
• Starting pay - $14/hr plus shift differential (additional $1/hr for nights and weekends)
• Paid Training - typically lasts 2 weeks from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (MST)
• Employment Status - Full Time, 40 hours, eligible for benefits on the 1st of the month after 60 days
