Patient Authorization and Referral Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Accurately and promptly handle all referrals and pre-authorizations for outpatient services.

• Serve as a point of contact between primary care providers, patients, specialists, and health insurance plans.

• Carry out the majority of job responsibilities independently, adhering to established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

• Associate’s degree in Business, Billing, or Coding.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology.
