This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Respond to incoming phone inquiries from patients, medical offices, and insurance providers.
• Place outbound calls to patients and medical offices to gather information or relay case updates.
• Examine case histories and insurance documents to provide accurate information to callers.
• Convey results of benefit investigations to patients and healthcare providers.
• Assess patients for potential financial assistance eligibility.
• Complete special projects assigned by management.
• Achieve productivity and quality targets established by call center management.
• Engage in team meetings to share identified trends and recurring challenges.
• Carry out additional tasks as required.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
• Previous experience in a call center is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to listen attentively and collaborate effectively with others.
• Strong attention to detail is necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Capable of setting priorities, working independently, and achieving goals without supervision.
• Quick learner with the ability to navigate various computer applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
