This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage all incoming calls while ensuring adherence to HIPAA privacy regulations.
• When making or returning outbound calls, compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations must be maintained.
• Log into and out of various systems (including practice management systems) to research and accurately respond to patient inquiries.
• Collect patient payment details over the phone, process transactions, and accurately update the account records.
• Effectively escalate issues to a supervisor or management for resolution.
• Ensure that all client-specific protocols are adhered to during the patient billing processes.
• Provide a precise and comprehensive analysis of aging as required.
• Review statements to verify that the information and balances are correct.
• Address requests in a professional and timely manner, following up on outstanding queries similarly.
• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Reliable transportation for local or hybrid roles.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.
• Strict adherence to patient confidentiality policies is mandatory.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
