This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Consistently upholds the Patients First philosophy and maintains high standards of customer service.
• Addresses inquiries and resolves concerns effectively.
• Ensures patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to patients.
• Surpasses all consumer requests and informs management of any issues or concerns.
• Accurately identifies and collects patient demographic information.
• Collaborates with various hospital departments and physician offices to efficiently schedule and direct patients.
• Conducts medical necessity checks as required.
• Notifies patients of any issues related to securing their encounter.
• Provides out-of-pocket estimations upon patient request.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service or a medical office setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer data entry and typing.
• Capable of typing at a speed of 40 words per minute.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
