This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Request and secure prescriptions and authorizations from medical offices and insurance providers.
• Follow up with healthcare providers and payers to guarantee the timely receipt of necessary documentation.
• Address inquiries related to Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN) and the requirements of participating providers.
• Re-verify patient eligibility for ongoing services.
• Maintain precise and compliant documentation in alignment with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
• Liaise with patients, provider offices, and internal teams to resolve access-related concerns.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare administration, medical office, or insurance-related fields.
• Experience in insurance authorization or precertification is preferred.
• Background in home health, DME, or enteral services is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
