This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Interact with patients and care partners concerning access, affordability, and reimbursement processes for BridgeBio’s commercialized products.
• Provide education to patients and care partners on access, affordability, reimbursement, and patient support initiatives related to Attruby.
• Implement new product launch strategies and synchronize with patient services objectives and brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Director of Patient Access Liaisons and various internal and external stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Sales, Commercial Analytics, Commercial IT, Training, Pharmacovigilance, and Market Access.
• Offer patient-facing support regarding access and affordability issues.
• Ensure a compliant and positive experience for patients throughout their journey.
• Assess and introduce patient access initiatives within the designated geographic region.
• Deliver personalized resolutions to issues through phone or in-person interactions.
• Facilitate direct access support between consented patients and hubs, pharmacies, prescriber offices, and support organizations.
• Manage follow-ups for missing information with the hub partner.
• Oversee relationships between ForgingBridges and consented patients.
• Welcome and onboard patients to ForgingBridges.
• Track patient status changes and follow up with patients, care partners, prescriber offices, and pharmacies.
• Ensure adherence to ForgingBridges business regulations.
• Manage information and communication workflows with consented patients.
• Collaborate with Patient Advocacy and participate in advocacy meetings and events.
• Lead and conduct in-person educational sessions for patients and care partners.
• Report compliant insights and findings to Brand Marketing and other Commercial divisions.
• Handle protected health information in accordance with BridgeBio policies.
• Attend national sales meetings, conferences, and regional events when necessary.
• Develop and implement tactical plans to support Market Access and Patient Support Services KPIs and metrics.
• Provide strategic and tactical insights for ongoing improvement.
• Complete assigned Market Access and Patient Support Services projects.
• A BA/BS degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Biotech/Pharma is required.
• Experience in patient services, Market Access, and hub operations is preferred.
• Background in Cardiology or Rare Disease is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Confidence in building rapport with patients and care partners.
• Strong foundation and experience in working closely with patient support programs, including copay, cost-sharing initiatives, affordability design, and hub models for medical and pharmacy benefit products.
• Understanding of the specialty market, buy and bill processes, retail market, reimbursement/access challenges, and OIG/CMS/legal guidelines pertaining to patient support programs.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and skill in developing effective strategies and tactics for patient access.
• Superior skills in oral and written communication, fostering collaboration across functions.
• Previous experience as a PAL/FAM is advantageous.
• Highly detail-oriented in creating and managing program documentation.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with families, patients, and key decision-makers.
• 40-60% domestic travel is required, regionally and intermittently across the United States.
