This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Lead and guide RCM/AR Follow Up Managers along with their respective teams.
• Strategically plan, organize, and oversee the operations of the Insurance Verification and Authorization Team.
• Act as the visionary for Patient Access workflow initiatives.
• Ensure Med-Metrix remains compliant with payer regulations and industry standards.
• Identify potential opportunities and risks, and effectively communicate these to the VP of Patient Access Services.
• Aim for the maximization of patient satisfaction while minimizing eligibility, benefit, and authorization denials.
• Proactively track KPIs, process metrics, and SLAs.
• Analyze weekly and monthly reports and utilize additional work tools to identify trends in RTE Errors.
• Deliver concise performance benchmark reports to Executive Leadership.
• Manage and supervise the education and training of staff.
• Conduct interviews, hiring, training, evaluation, and development of subordinate personnel.
• Design and uphold quality control programs, encompassing comprehensive and individual performance reviews.
• Onboard new hires and facilitate in-services, training, ongoing education, and development opportunities.
• Mentor the Manager of Patient Access on strategic analysis of metrics and effective communication with clients.
• Undertake various tasks including the development of front-end processes and KPIs.
• Act as the facilitator and lead for Med-Metrix front-end implementations.
• Represent Med-Metrix in Client Projects and relay communication to executive leadership.
• Provide professional and summarized quantitative analyses to both Med-Metrix and client executives.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in directing and leading a physician business office, professional services CBO, or hospital Patient Access department.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with all systems related to the revenue cycle.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility, goal orientation, and flexibility.
• High integrity, with the ability to manage sensitive or confidential information effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking abilities, with sound judgment to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
• High level of integrity and dependability, coupled with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• A gracious and welcoming demeanor for customer service interactions.
• Occasional travel to client locations.
• Must have a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
