
Pathology Support Coordinator β Sample Review, ASCP Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Utilize a variety of information sources, including LIMS, to assess cases for the accuracy and completeness of pathology tissue samples for Signatera and Altera testing.
β’ Analyze pathology reports, clinical notes, and supplementary testing reports to perform light data entry for each tissue sample.
β’ Collaborate with colleagues to address potential discrepancies.
β’ Ensure that appropriate notes and holds are placed on cases for non-conforming samples, discrepancies, and/or missing information, and escalate issues to guarantee timely resolution.
β’ Validate cancer types for the reporting team prior to the issuance of reports via emails and spreadsheets.
β’ Achieve daily case metrics.
β’ Participate in interdepartmental meetings.
β’ Offer feedback on existing processes or workflows.
β’ Review and familiarize oneself with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
β’ BS/BA degree is preferred.
β’ A High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical industry, preferably in pathology.
β’ Prior data entry experience is mandatory.
