This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Grantmaking team.
• Support program communications, update the database, and organize files and reports.
• Engage in graphic design and audiovisual content creation.
• Develop multimedia content for publication that highlights the grant and fellowship projects.
• Create various written materials, which may involve interviewing, audio transcriptions, translation, and brief summaries on grant and fellowship initiatives.
• Interact with diverse Indigenous communities to learn about the ongoing challenges they face.
• Exceptional writing and communication abilities.
• Proficient with internet tools and creative in Excel template design.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to produce concise summaries from provided resources.
• Expected to assist with video editing tasks.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Portuguese and other languages may also be advantageous.
• Must be independent, self-motivated, creative, and dependable, with a keen interest in understanding Indigenous peoples’ rights, their activism, traditions, circumstances, and cultures.
• This is a remote internship.
• The chosen intern will receive a one-time stipend of $500.00 to help cover expenses such as phone, internet, office supplies, and other internship-related costs.
• Monthly mentorship sessions will be provided.
