
Parts Counter Person – Remote Sites

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Exemplify safe, environmentally responsible, and health-conscious work practices consistently, aligning with Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs, and initiatives.
• Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, which encompasses procurement, ordering, backorder management, core processing, and the picking and delivery of parts to both internal and external customers.
• Handle email and phone orders, in addition to selling parts directly over the counter.
• Ensure that customer needs are addressed efficiently, knowledgeably, and professionally.
• Manage both the physical and electronic inventory of parts, while also assembling hydraulic hoses to meet Cat standards.
• Process all core returns and warranty parts.
• Completion of Post Secondary Education and a minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment or truck parts counter/inside sales.
• Safety-oriented with a technical or mechanical aptitude, coupled with a background in heavy equipment or truck equipment.
• Customer-focused with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Capable of effectively prioritizing tasks and adapting to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, independent, and a team player with a strong sense of urgency.
