This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Conduct research to pinpoint high-potential opportunities in the realm of physical AI, particularly in robotics and autonomous vehicles, and compile these into persuasive technical and commercial proposals.
• Carry out outreach efforts targeting a specific list to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities driven by Runway’s product offerings and forthcoming releases related to general world models.
• Collaborate closely with Research and Product teams to provide feedback and highlight opportunities for further research and development; envision future applications beyond our existing customer base.
• Establish use cases, define scope, sequence tasks, and set success metrics for Runway’s Physical AI initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of the commercial narrative (presentations, demonstrations, proposals, and deal memos) that effectively showcases Runway’s unique value proposition and return on investment for prospects, clients, executives, and internal teams.
• Structure and negotiate non-standard partnerships until contracts are signed.
• Over 7 years of comprehensive experience in business development, partnerships, corporate development, or investment roles.
• Strong technical aptitude for grasping complex technologies, tools, systems, and challenges.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
• A proactive attitude with the belief that no task is too trivial for you.
• Highly resourceful, able to create order and work independently amidst uncertainty.
• Represent Runway with credibility and a strong executive presence in interactions with customers and partners from day one.
