Partnerships Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the proposal development process, ensuring timely input from all relevant teams.

• Maintain deadlines and tracking systems to guarantee that all proposals are complete and submitted punctually.

• Assist in creating engaging proposal narratives and compiling essential documentation to support fundraising initiatives.

• Supervise the tracking and updating of D-tree’s CRM system to ensure accurate records of funding prospects and progress.

• Facilitate team reviews of funding proposals and financial forecasts to enhance quality and alignment with organizational objectives.

• Conduct research and summarize pertinent funding opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.

• Evaluate existing fundraising processes and pinpoint areas for improvement to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

• Aid in developing templates and tools that streamline fundraising operations and bolster organizational capabilities.

• Foster a culture of strategic thinking and proactive fundraising throughout the organization.

• Ensure well-organized records of all fundraising activities, proposals, and donor communications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and create high-quality fundraising materials.

• Prepare staff and leadership for donor engagements by aligning on messaging and objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as International Development, Public Health, or Business Administration.

• Experience in fundraising operations, proposal writing, business development coordination, or other relevant operational roles, with strong transferable skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and writing skills, focusing on clear and persuasive communication.
