This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
β’ Enhance the reach of Caramel/eBay Motors by establishing trusted relationships with independent dealers within the automotive retail sector.
β’ Assess new partnership opportunities based on dealer outreach, business compatibility, anticipated impact, and the potential to generate qualified leads.
β’ Guide partner discussions from initial outreach through to negotiation, launch, performance evaluation, and growth strategies.
β’ Develop partner programs that may encompass referrals, affiliate frameworks, co-marketing initiatives, sponsorships, industry events, training, or reciprocal business development efforts.
β’ Collaborate with Dealer Services, Dealer Activation, Dealer Account Executives, Marketing, Product, Risk, Finance, and Operations to transition partner-sourced opportunities from interest to actual activation.
β’ Leverage performance metrics to determine which channels yield effective results, identify areas for follow-up or conversion improvements, and ascertain where Caramel/eBay Motors should focus its efforts next.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, channel partnerships, marketplace expansion, automotive partnerships, or a similar field.
β’ Familiarity with dealer operations, vehicle marketplaces, auctions, F&I, lending, inventory management, floor planning, transaction processes, or related industry concepts.
β’ Proven experience in establishing partnerships or channel programs that resulted in a qualified pipeline, customer growth, increased revenue, transaction volume, inventory expansion, or GMV.
β’ Background in collaborating with automotive or related partners, including dealer groups, associations, auctions, agencies, software providers, financial services firms, F&I providers, marketplaces, or platform businesses.
β’ Strong judgment in assessing partner suitability, shaping deal conditions, defining mutual value, and transforming relationships into sustainable business channels.
β’ Proficiency in utilizing sales, funnel, or partner performance data to measure quality, identify gaps, and enhance outcomes.
