This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the representative for Aselo at conferences, operate booths, deliver live demonstrations, and establish new connections.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with prospects, partners, vendors, and helplines.

• Drive lead generation through email, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.

• Create reusable messaging, automation, and AI-assisted sales processes.

• Transition signed partners to the implementations team with the necessary context.

• Manage ongoing customer relationships and identify opportunities for co-fundraising, expansion, and growth.

• Address cross-team customer issues and support the implementations and support teams.

• Engage in customer support rotation and provide necessary coverage.

• Present and tailor Aselo demonstrations and conduct discovery discussions.

• Convert customer use cases into business workflows in collaboration with product and technical teams.

• Present solutions from Crisis Text Line when relevant.

• Construct market models, monitor industry trends, assess markets, and compare competing products.

• Transform market and prospect insights into suggestions for the product roadmap.

• Collaborate with Crisis Text Line partnerships staff and assist with RFP responses.

• Define and monitor sales and customer success metrics.

• Provide guidance to the Executive Director on partnership goals and targets, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives.

• Compile quotes, negotiate pricing discussions, and recommend adjustments to pricing frameworks.

• Develop sales materials and support messaging on the website and social channels.

• Organize webinars and informational sessions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or customer success.

• Proven capability to manage opportunities from lead generation to discovery, proposal, negotiation, and final agreement.

• Excellent consultative communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Proficient in listening, establishing rapport, assessing fit, and tailoring complex information for diverse audiences.

• Skillful in negotiating respectfully and empathetically with organizations that have limited resources.

• Strong follow-through and organizational capabilities.

• Familiarity with CRM, reporting, or similar tools for managing relationships, pipelines, and performance metrics.

• Solid analytical skills, including market modeling, sizing, opportunity evaluation, and competitive product analysis.

• Innovative and resourceful in lead generation and the utilization of reusable content or automation.

• Technical ability to become proficient in Aselo and grasp basic tools such as Git commands and customer support applications.

• Competence in creating clear presentation materials and visuals, as well as delivering demos, webinars, and presentations.

• Availability to work primarily during Eastern Time hours.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.

• Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Preferred: experience working across cultures.

• Preferred: experience in selling SaaS or technology solutions to nonprofit, government, or public-sector organizations.

• Preferred: background in helplines, crisis response, mental health, child protection, or mission-driven services.

• Preferred: experience in contributing to or leading RFP responses.

• Preferred: experience managing new business and ongoing customer relationships, including renewals, expansion, or partnership growth.

• Preferred: experience in competitive research, market sizing, product positioning, and translating feedback into product recommendations.

• Preferred location within the Eastern Time Zone.

• Proficiency in a language other than English is an advantage.

• For U.S.-based candidates, residence and regular work location must be in one of the eligible states.
