Partner Success Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Establish trust with our Partners and cultivate deep relationships by thoroughly understanding their business goals and objectives among various stakeholders.

• Provide consultation on our Partners’ payroll operations by identifying the root causes of obstacles, presenting and persuading Partners on suitable strategies to resolve inefficiencies and enhance revenue, while developing strategic execution plans as a trusted advisor to ensure each Partner fully utilizes the value of Check.

• Manage all stages of the post-sales Partner lifecycle, which includes launch, milestone planning, and renewal discussions.

• Define shared success metrics/KPIs with our Partners that align with both their and Check’s revenue and growth objectives.

• Create, implement, and uphold a communication rhythm with your portfolio of Partners.

• Update cross-functional teams on key focus areas concerning Partner requirements and challenges.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop suitable communication strategies, including but not limited to product releases, roadmap updates, compliance notifications, and incident management.

• Introduce and deploy new products and features to your Partners, assess their effectiveness, and facilitate feedback channels between them and Check’s Product team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a pertinent field.

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Background in the SaaS industry; experience in fintech or payroll is advantageous.

• Strategic growth or consulting expertise.

• Experience in post-sales partner/account management or existing account expansion.

• Proven success in managing a portfolio of customer or partner relationships with complex technical or product requirements.

• Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity about their potential to enhance partner workflows.

• A genuine empathy and commitment to partners’ success—you perceive their achievements as your own.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to convey complex concepts succinctly in live partner discussions, escalation talks, and executive environments.

• Adaptability, a quick learning ability, and the capacity to effectively balance multiple priorities and projects (both internally and externally) in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency or familiarity with Check’s primary software applications such as Zendesk, Google Workspace, Notion, etc.

• Strong documentation skills—you consistently maintain written records and keep organized notes in tools like CRMs.

• Willingness to travel regularly (estimated at no more than 20%).
