Partner Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the effective onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of technical resources for partners;

• Engage in regular joint business planning and review meetings to ensure alignment between Datadog and Partner technical teams;

• Work collaboratively to support Partner technical initiatives, including end-customer demonstrations, proofs of value, enablement workshops, and providing assessment, guidance, and coaching on best practices;

• Represent Partners’ technical issues (such as use cases, feature requests, and support challenges) to Datadog's internal teams, assisting in resolving those issues;

• Regularly analyze and comprehend Partner service offerings, providing recommendations to enhance service value through increased adoption of Datadog features and capabilities;

• Collaborate with Datadog's product management, engineering, and technical services teams to help identify and prioritize new features and functionalities;

• Consistently assist in curating and advancing best practices for the successful adoption of the Datadog platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Have a strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in IT Development and/or Operations;

• Demonstrate a proven track record and an unwavering passion for learning; successful candidates typically possess 10-15 years of experience in a technical role that involves customer or partner engagement;

• Be a self-motivated, tech-savvy professional with sound business acumen; capable of communicating Datadog's value from server room to executive boardroom;

• Exhibit confident presentation skills;

• Ideally possess practical experience in two or more of the following areas:

• Observability tools: Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, or Dynatrace;

• Public Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba;

• Containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Cloud Foundry;

• Development/Scripting languages: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, or Go;

• Configuration Management tools: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef;

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins or GitLab;

• Previous experience in a technical role supporting channel partners (such as Systems Integrators or Managed Services Providers);

• Familiarity with Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring solutions (APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, NPM);

• Previous experience in root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
