This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Develop a robust ecosystem of partners that align with our Go To Market objectives and enhance the Zendesk brand in the region.
• Meet our Partner sales goals, including both new business acquisition and growth opportunities within current customers.
• Evaluate whether your existing partners have the necessary capacity and capability, and recruit, onboard, and empower new partners where needed.
• Equip our Partners with knowledge of key Zendesk value propositions and sales strategies, ensuring they act as a true extension of Zendesk for our mutual clients and prospects. Provide training on Zendesk products, systems, the Partner Connect portal, and enablement tools.
• Collaborate on a joint business plan with each of your top partners, reviewing progress on a quarterly basis. Implement appropriate corrective measures if performance gaps arise (from both Zendesk and Partner perspectives).
• Coordinate with regional sales teams and relevant Partners to ensure strong mutual support and understanding.
• Serve as a liaison between the Zendesk Partner ecosystem and the Zendesk Sales Team to assist Partners in closing sales opportunities and facilitate GTM activities and introductions.
• Work alongside Zendesk Marketing and Zendesk Partner Marketing to create, monitor, and execute joint GTM initiatives aimed at enhancing the Partner pipeline and revenue generation. Ensure high ROI from these investments and timely follow-up on leads.
• Deliver an exceptional experience for Partners and assist them with their inquiries across various Zendesk functions (such as Pre-Sales, Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Enablement, etc.).
• Monitor sales opportunities (leads, deal registrations, quotes, etc.) and drive Partner revenue-generating activities to meet established targets.
• Ensure Partners adhere to Zendesk’s sales methodology, manage deals, and accurately forecast sales.
• Maintain a consistent focus on developing a strong new business pipeline.
• Become an expert on Zendesk’s products and conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with prospects and customers.
• Act as an ambassador for the Zendesk Partner Program, both internally and externally.
• Keep Partner information current in our CRM tool and provide precise forecasts on a weekly basis.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 5 years in business-to-business sales, with at least 3 years in a high-tech, fast-paced software SaaS environment.
• Experience carrying a quota with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Proficient in various software applications, including Google Apps, CRM, Docs, Spreadsheets, and Presentations.
• Strong skills in prospecting, along with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Determination, drive, and motivation to be a top performer who surpasses expectations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), including a strong presence in video conferences.
• Proficient in developing business plans with C-level stakeholders that guide and ensure successful execution with partners and internal stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in selling within the software/SaaS sector.
• Self-motivated and accountable, with a strong work ethic to exceed targets and devise innovative solutions to challenges.
• Must be adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth, and collaborative setting.
• Familiarity with a sales methodology (e.g., Sandler, Challenger Sales) is a plus; ability to coach others throughout the sales cycle and experience with forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills; experience in building reports and dashboards, with knowledge of BI tools being advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Nordic and Benelux languages is a plus.
